Wrote a (bad) "back of book" blurb, thought about changing or sharing POV, and other poking.

I'm trying to figure out how to turn this giant mass of thoughts into a cohesive story now :)

3400 combined words of world-building with a friend for the original NaNo bit. 2000 of them were mine, 1400 hers. Oy.

I am...not so good at making progress on a daily basis, it seems. At least one day this week I need to sit down and work on this, though. >->;

The piece I'm working on now is due tomorrow! I made some fairly substantial cuts and edits yesterday, as well as wrote in the last missing scene. All that's left to do is take a pair of pruning shears to it and hope I can cut it down to size in time. :D;; Sometimes I really wish I wasn't such a wordy writer.

Work and school have taken over my life.
I love how it feels like writing is my real life, and school and work are just irritating things I need to deal with in the interim.
I'm writing a lot, but a bunch of different things. Dunno if I'm going to make my short story goal.
Does anyone else feel there is not enough time in the damn day?
